We are always grateful for another day and another week that we have been in-person together. A reminder about HCA’s plan to go fully remote when the Covid-19 variant appears in Maine – here is a link to information about the variant, and here is a link to a tracker for the variant. We know that it has the potential to spread quickly, and it is predicted that it will be in Maine at the latest by March. Please have a plan in place for your student, if need be, for when that happens. At this point, it sounds like it is not a question of “if” but a question of “when”.

We do not yet know for how long we will go remote when this more contagious variant arrives in Maine. It will likely be when we can ensure the health and safety of our students and staff to the same level that we have been able to so far this year.
